What Hong Kong people love most about the New Year is "kicking off with good fortune" to bring in auspiciousness. From watching the sea of clouds at Tai Mo Shan to feeling the sea breeze at Dragon's Back, or even enjoying a night at a Sai Kung campsite, with the good weather of the New Year, it's the perfect time to gather with family and friends and relax in the country parks.

Naturehike has always adhered to the "light outdoor" philosophy, aiming for everyone to enjoy nature more easily and freely. For this Year of the Horse, we suggest:

• Start Fast: Bring Naturehike's lightweight gear, be as agile as a spirited horse, lighten your load, and hike faster than others!

• Gear Up Smart: As the saying goes, "clothes make the man." A new windbreaker or a new tent, out with the old and in with the new, will make you feel refreshed and invigorated!

⚠️ Friendly Reminder: Have Fun, Stay Safe

Although the New Year is exciting, Naturehike wants to play its part in reminding everyone to prioritize safety while having fun:

• Don't Push It: Trails can be crowded during the New Year. Remember to know your limits. Choose a route appropriate for your fitness level, and don't go to dangerous places just for "check-ins."

• Bring Enough Warm Clothes: Hong Kong's New Year weather can be unpredictable, and there's a big temperature difference between the mountaintops and the city. Remember to bring an extra windbreaker or light down jacket.

• Pack It In, Pack It Out: Protect our backyard, practice "Leave No Trace (LNT)," so we can enjoy hiking every year, generation after generation!
